What a great day in Singapore. Our guide (ST Foong) was excellent. Great knowledge of the city, cultures, and customs. He gave us a great overview of the Subway lines which, unlike America, ARE SPOTLESS… Easy to use and can get you anywhere in the city in minutes. ST talked with us at length about the history and growth strategy of Singapore. His formal education is Architecture really shown through as he highlighted the contrasting architectures across the city. This was particularly interesting to us as we had visited the city 25 years ago and the changes were, as you would imagine, significant. I would definitely recommend this tour and ST Foong in particular. He is a trained and certified tour guide for Singapore. His English is excellent and his interaction to customize our trip was exemplary.

We walked around the Orchard Street area and had a delightful couple of hours with Phoebe, who was very knowledgeable. That was where we were staying, I recommend that you find an area that you want to see and then find the guide. The Orchard St area is a shopping, rather than sightseeing area, so it wasn’t really suited for a walking tour. But Phoebe was great.
