What to Expect
In case you were wondering BYO stands for "Bring Your Own." So, it means just that... bring your own, food or whatever will help you feel right at home on the islands of Tintemarre and Pinel.
Enjoy cruising the scenic coastline of Sint Maarten, all the way to the north side where you will discover the pristine islands of Tintemarre and Pinel.
Hiking across island reveals that it was once inhabited with workers and farming as an industry and even its’ own currency. The remains of two aeroplane wrecks can still be found across the flat plains, as well as the original farmhouse, farming implements and old stone walls.
But it is the breathtaking white sandy beaches and marine life that will draw you to spending most of your time in the water, discovering the rich and protected underwater world.
Beach, snorkel, swim or simply grab a noodle and chill next to our floating cooler. Snorkel gear, beers, sodas and rum punch are included. Bring your own special refreshment and a picnic lunch.
Onwards to Pinel in the afternoon where hungry swimmers can picnic, or there are three great restaurants that serve up delicious food to hungry boaters.
Yellow Beach serves up tasty fresh lobster. Ask for the wagon table set up right in the water. Pinel has a palm fringed beach with chairs and umbrellas. The water is calm and shallow, making it perfect for kids and lazy noodle lovers.
