What people are saying about Simon's Town
I don't usually leave reviews but I felt compelled to mention how awesome this company is! I chose this tour because it sounded a lot more authentic than the others. I was right. These guys are awesome! Nick was our host...what a legend! A guy I'd like to have a few beers with (which we did later that week.) He just launched a travel recommendation app called "Local Knowledge Travel." Be sure to check it out! It's a game changer. Nick...thanks for an awesome couple days mate! Til next time
This was such a cool experience! It felt extremely local (like exploring a city with friends.) Our host, Yanga, was an absolute legend! We ended up going for drinks on the Local Knowledge Pub Crawl later that evening! Yanga also got us on the Local Knowledge Travel App which provided awesome recommendations and was something we used every day for the remainder of our trip. All-round, this company rocks! Don't hesitate! Book it
The trip was cool. At first, it was cancelled because I was only the one person, but than luckily two persons booked it as well. So it was only three of us. We had a very nice trip with great guide. Everything was prepared professionally. I enjoyed very beautiful views of Clifton Beach, the boat trip, the seals, the Cape of Good Hope and Boulder’s Beach. In addition, it was very comfortable to drive a Mercedes C250.
Local Knowledge is awesome! I am so glad we found this tour. We did the Peninsula Roadtrip & enjoyed it so much that we booked 3 more days with them. We also trialed the Local Knowledge Travel App (we were one of the first to get access to it which was awesome!) The app was really cool and gave us recommendations to the best local secret spots. Off the beaten track type locations. Thanks guys! We will be back
This was really cool! I am not one to hire a tour guide but this was more of an 'experience' than a tour. And our guide was more of a new friend with great stories rather than a formal guide telling you the history of locations in painful detail. Great work creating a really cool company and a great itinerary. I can't wait to see the Local Knowledge Travel App. I will be first in line to try it out!
