Explore the area around Uyuni on a 3-day tour. See handicrafts made of salt, stop at the Flags of the World, and visit the Chiguana Desert. Day 1 Meet your guide in Uyuni and begin your 3-day adventure. Head to the Train Graveyard, a cemetery full of abandoned trains. Stop at the small settlement of Colchani, which housed salt miners, and shop for handicrafts made of salt and textile art made of llama and alpaca fiber. Next, visit a hotel and museum made entirely out of salt. Bring your country's flag and place it at the Flags of the World, and stop at the Monument to Dakar racing. For an added fee, visit Incahuasi Island, a former island in the middle of the salt flats. Then, pose for some fun perspective- and proportion-distorted photos taken against the backdrop of the striking white surface of the salt flats. Finally, head to a spacious area for the unique experience of seeing a beautiful sunset over the salt flats, spreading its dazzling colors all over the Uyuni Salt Flats, and enjoying it with a glass of wine. First Night: Agencha Hostel – 2-beds, 3-beds, 4-beds room + Private toilets. Day 2 Begin with an early breakfast before heading to Chiguana Desert. Stand surrounded by volcanoes and marvel at the still-active Ollagüe Volcano. Then, continue along the rocky road El Pasito Tuntun to reach the beautiful lagoons of Cañapa, Hedionda, and Chiarcota. Keep an eye out for the brilliantly colored flamingoes standing in the lagoons. Stop to enjoy lunch before heading to Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve (entry not included). Visit Siloli Desert and see the Rock Tree lava rock formation. Continue to Huayllajara, stopping at the Red Lagoon overlook point to see flamingos relaxing in the intense red colors of the lake. Second Night: Huayllajara Hostel shared 6-beds rooms + shared toilets. Day 3 Get off to an early start around 5:00 a.m. to visit the Sol de Mañana Geyser (5,000m) and walk next to fumaroles and steaming craters filled with boiling pots of mud at 150-200 Cº. then, have the opportunity to take a bath in an open air Hot Springs at a 35 Cº water. The next places to appreciate are the Dali Desert Marvel at the vivid colors of the Green and White Lagoons, created from the toxic copper water at the foot of the Licancabur Volcano. Then, head back to San Pedro de Atacama in Chile. Cross the Bolivian border with the help of your tour guide and finish your adventure at San Pedro de Atacama’s main square.

Day 1: Train Cemetery - Colchani - Hotel de Sal - Isla Incahuasi Start of the tour will start with the visit of the train cemetery to see the old locomotives. Then we go to the community of Colchani (the entrance door to the Salar) where we will find rustic handicraft workshops and the rustic micro-processing of table salt. Continuing with the expedition to the majestic Salar de Uyuni we will make stops to see salt extractions, eyes of the salar and the hotel of Sal Playa Blanca that currently only works as a museum. Later we will visit the most popular island of the Salar located in the middle of the Salar, the Incahuasi island where we will walk and we can appreciate large expanses of cactus, sea rock fossils and spectacular 360 ° views from the viewpoint. At the end of our tour, we went to our salt lodge to rest Day 2: Ollague Volcano Viewpoint - Lagunas de Altura - Siloli Desert - Stone Tree - Laguna Colorada The day starts with a breakfast at the salt lodge. We start to the viewpoint of the Ollague volcano, to appreciate a volcanic desert landscape and the scarce high-Andean vegetation. Then visit Chiarkota lagoon, Laguna Hedionda (name due to the smell of sulfur), Onda lagoon, Ramaditas lagoon these lagoons are surrounded by flamingos which use them as feeding and resting points during their migratory movements and for the noonday it is tasted lunch on the route. We continue our journey to the Siloli desert where the stone tree is found (strange rocky shape). We continue our way to Laguna Colorada which is very striking because of its reddish color. Continuing, we arrive at the town of Huayllajara where we will taste a dinner, and spend the night in a community family lodging Day 3: Fumaroles - Thermal springs of Polques - Green Lagoon - Valley of the rocks - San Cristóbal - Uyuni The day starts very early in the morning with a breakfast and departure to the fumaroles and cracks in the earth where volcanic lava, sulphurous gases. Following the route we will arrive at the thermal waters (waters that are beneficial for the healing of arthritis) where you can take a bath and restful rest, the water has a temperature of 25 to 32 ° C. We continue the journey through the second desert in our tour of Salvador Dalí which has an excellent panoramic view and resemble this desert landscape. Afterwards, we arrive at the green lagoon (high mineral content gives it its characteristic color), located at the foot of the Licancabur volcano (5,916 masl). Then we went to the town of Uyuni making stops to visit Villa Mar, Valle de las Rocas, the town of San Cristóbal, its Stone Church and finally we continued to finish our tour in the town of Uyuni. Optional Transfer to San Pedro de Atacama: After visiting the green lagoon, you can make the transfer to Hito Cajones border between Chile and Bolivia for later transfer to San Pedro de Atacama in shared transport (Check the extra price for the transfer)

Day 1 Visit: Train Cemetery + Uyuni Salt Flats + Incahuasi island Departure from Uyuni City at 10:30 a.m. towards the salt flats in 4x4 WD cars. Then, arrive at Colchani village to appreciate the salt production and take a short walk through the artisanal market and the museum. Later, the immense Uyuni Salt Flats at an altitude of 3,663 m.o.s.l. which extends over an area of 12,000 km². Along the trip, visit: Salt eyes, Salt Hotel-Museum (Built entirely of salt blocks), Dakar Monument, Flags of the world, and finally, arrive at Incahuasi Island to appreciate the beautiful view and the giant cactus. At the end of the day, take your time in the sunset with a glass of wine, and get to the hostel for dinner time. Day 2 Visit: Chiguana + Ollague lookout point + Andean lagoons with flamingoes + Red lagoon After breakfast, go to visit the famous lagoons: Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarcota, with a lot of flamingoes. Later, an exquisite lunch, Siloli desert, Stone Tree. At the final of the day, arrive at Red Lagoon which is inhabited by numerous flamingos, within these species there are 3 varieties: Chilean, James, and Andean. Finally, head to the hotel in the community of “Huayllajara” to have dinner, and rest Day 3 Visit: Geysers Sol de Mañana + Hot Springs Pool + Lookout point Green lagoon - White lagoon - Lincancabur Volcano + Uyuni Very early in the morning, after breakfast, go to "Sol de Mañana" geysers and enjoy a fantastic view along the way; this place has volcanic activity such as fumaroles and geysers (holes of bubbling mud, smoking, and a smell of sulfur). Also, visit the hot springs of Polques to take a bath and relax enjoying the most beautiful landscape. Then, the Salvador Dali Desert which offers spectacular views and multicolored rock formations of the volcanoes. Later, go up to the viewpoint of the Green Lagoon, White Lagoon, and Lincancabur Volcano. (Don't be surprised if we go to the Chilean border, sometimes we have customers that they need to stop over there). Finally, return to Uyuni, and on the way, after lunch, appreciate bofedales and more rocky formations. Arrival time at the office in Uyuni City: 06:30 p.m. IMPORTANT INFORMATION *During the rainy season (from January to April), it is not possible to access Incahuasi Island. Day 1: We will pick you up at your hotel in Uyuni to take our 4x4 vehicle for 6 people, in which we will make all the tour during the three days. We will leave towards the Uyuni Salt Flat, passing by the train cemetery and the town of Colchani before, where we will be able to buy craftwork. After that, once we are on the salt flat, we will visit the Salt Museum, and we will travel to the Incahuasi Island, a limestone formation in the center of the salt flat. Here we will be able to walk by a track, see the giant cactus and have a privileged view of the salt flat from the top of the hill. We will end the day seeing the sunset inside the salt flat, so then we can go to the Colcha K hostel, where we will have dinner and rest for the next day. Day 2: During the morning, we will leave Colcha K and keep going by the road that goes through the Chiguana Salt Flat. We will visit the Cañapa, Hedionda, Honda and Chiarkota lagoons, before enter to the Siloli Desert. We will end the day in the Colorada Lagoon, nesting center of more than 30,000 flamingos. We will spend the night in the Refugio Huayllajara. Day 3: We will leave early in the morning to see the sunrise in the Sol de Mañana Geysers, intermittent sources of water that rise at a 90°C temperature, and where we will have the chance of taking pictures using the contrasts of the first lights and the steam. In addition, we will visit the Polques Hot Springs (time to bathe, according to the times of the tour), the Salvador Dalí Desert, and the Verde Lagoon and Blanca Lagoon, located in the foothills of the Licancabur Volcano. In addition, we will pass by the Valle de Rocas and San Cristóbal, so after that, we will begin our direct return to Uyuni, where we will end the tour.

Day 4: See the hot waters of Polques, the Dali Desert, the valley of rock formations, the green lagoon, and the Licancabur Volcano Viewpoint. Afterward, return to Uyuni. On the way, see herds of llamas, vicuñas, wild birds, and much more. Arrive in Uyuni in the afternoon. Get free time to rest or take a shower before boarding the bus to travel back to La Paz. In La Paz, end your trip with drop-off at your pickup location.

Once at the border, we will change to a 4x4 vehicle for 6 people. On this first day we will visit places of the Bolivian altiplano, such as Laguna Blanca and Laguna Verde, located at the foot of the Licancabur volcano. Then we will visit the Salvador Dali desert, the Polques hot springs, with time to bathe and the geysers of Sol de Mañana, intermittent springs of temperate water. We will finish this day at Laguna Colorada, which is a nesting center for many flamingos. Tonight we will stay at the Villamar lodge. Day 2: After breakfast, we will take the road to Tomas Lakha, where you can see pre-Inca cave paintings. Then we will go to visit Italia Perdida, a place where the volcanic rock took the shape of what seems to be an abandoned city. Then we will go to the Vinto Lagoon and the Catal Lagoon, where you can walk and see the typical fauna of the Bolivian Altiplano. We will then visit the Anaconda Canyon and also the Sora Canyon, before continuing on to the Chiguana Salt Flat and arriving at Colcha K, where we will spend the second night. Day 3: This will be our last day and we will start very early to visit the Salar de Uyuni at sunrise. After this experience we will move to Incahuasi Island, which is a limestone rock formation located in the center of the salt flat that we can walk around and get another perspective of the salt flat. We will continue to the Salt Museum and the town of Colchani, already outside the salt flat. From here we will transfer to Uyuni, passing by the train cemetery, where we will make a brief stop to take pictures. In Uyuni we will say goodbye to our driver-guide, who accompanied us during the previous three days and then we will have free time to have lunch and walk around the city. Afterwards, we will meet our driver who will take us back, stopping in Villamar for dinner and rest. Day 4: This day we will wake up very early to continue our trip back to the border of Chile and Bolivia. Once there, we will change our vehicle to a minibus to be able to return to San Pedro de Atacama.

We will spend the night at the Huayllajara Refuge. Day 3: We will leave early in the morning to see the sunrise at the Sol de Mañana Geysers, intermittent water sources that rise to a temperature of 90°C, and where we will have the opportunity to take photographs taking advantage of the contrasts of the first lights. and steam. Day 4: We will wake up very early to continue our return trip and reach the border of Chile and Bolivia. Once here, and after the corresponding formalities, we will change vehicles to a minibus to return to San Pedro de Atacama.

Day 1: Tupiza to Quetena We will meet early in the morning at the designated meeting point in Tupiza, located near the border between Bolivia and Argentina. Our initial stop will be the Quebrada de Palala, a distinctive rock formation formed over millennia by erosion. We will then visit El Sillar, where we will pause briefly to admire the scenery and take pictures. Our route will take us through Nazarenito, a mining community, before arriving at San Pablo de Lipez, a village located at an altitude of 4250 meters. Continuing on, we will reach the village of Quetena, where we will spend our first night. Day 2: Quetena to Huayllajara After a morning breakfast, we will continue our journey in the vehicle to the first lagoon on our route, the Kollpa Lagoon. We will have the opportunity to capture some photographs before heading to the Chaiviri salt flat. Afterwards, we will continue to the Verde Lagoon, located at an altitude of 4250 meters, at the foot of the Licancabur Volcano, on the border between Bolivia and Chile. Continuing our journey, we will cross the Dali desert, admiring its varied rock formations of different colors. We will pass by the Sol de Mañana geysers before arriving in Huayllajara, where we will stay for our second night. Day 3: Huayllajara to Villa Candelaria We will head to the impressive Colorada Lagoon, known for being an important nesting site for flamingos. After marveling at this natural spectacle, we will continue on to the Siloli Desert, home to the iconic Stone Tree. After a brief stop to capture some images of the landscape, we will continue on our way that will take us through a series of altiplanic lagoons. Among them is the Hedionda Lagoon, home not only to flamingos, but also to vicuñas and, if we are lucky, we will be able to spot the Andean fox. Afterwards, we will head to the Ollagüe Volcano viewpoint, from where we will enjoy impressive views of the Andes Mountains. We will continue our journey crossing the Chiguana and San Juan salt flats until we reach Villa Candelaria, where we will spend our third and last night. Day 4: Villa Candelaria to Salar de Uyuni We will leave in the early hours of the morning, before dawn, to enter the Salar de Uyuni, the largest in the world. There, we will have the opportunity to witness the spectacular sunrise and capture stunning photographs, taking advantage of the optical illusion offered by the vast white horizon. Our next stop will be Incahuasi Island, located in the heart of the salt flat, from where we will be able to contemplate a 360° panoramic view of this vast extension. After enjoying this unique moment, we will leave the salt flat behind and pass through Colchani, a town known for its salt processing activity and where we will be able to buy some souvenirs. Finally, we will continue our journey to the city of Uyuni, where our tour concludes.
