What people are saying about Siem Reap
The driver and guide were at the hotel on time. It worked out great to buy the entry tickets and then get to the right location before sunrise so that we could get the most beautiful pictures possible with as few people as possible. The guide has fun with his work. He was able to convey the historical, cultural and religious background well. He spoke English well, even if we had to get used to the pronunciation. The driver let us out at one point and picked us up again at another. This was especially practical and efficient to see 5 temples in time. You can't do that on your own. Especially since it gets oppressively hot at midday. The car was also air conditioned. We were well supplied with water and in between we were also given cooling towels for the face.
The choice has been great. Despite the heat, our guide Raman and the driver did their best to always give us cold water and a fresh washcloth every time we got into the minivan. The food restaurant was very good, air conditioned and not at all overwhelming. Raman speaks English very well, something difficult to find around here. Furthermore, he is always very attentive to the group, explains things very well and is an expert photographer. The only thing to keep in mind is that in summer a full day in Angkor is physically very demanding and exhausting, but it was definitely worth it. The sunset at Angkor Vat has nothing to envy of the sunrise, and you don't have to get up early.
Great experience . The guide was very informative. The driver was polite and gave cold wet rags to clean and cool down after every stop. The tour is very long and it’s extremely hot. I would suggest bringing an extra shirt. They also provide you with water throughout the entire trip which is nice.
We visited Angkor Wat today with our guide Noy and our driver Vutha. Even though it was scorching temperatures, Noy kept us entertained and was extremely knowledgable about the Temples. Amazing work by both of them!! 10/10 recommend!!
Our guide Loi made the day a real pleasure; he was very professional, courteous, and friendly and more importantly used his knowledge and experience to keep us in the opposite direction of the crowds. Thank you.
