What People Are Saying About Side
Pamukkale well worth visiting. Long journey but several stops on the way. Don't bother with the lunch stops as they like a tourist cattle market where you have an overpriced buffet which is lukewarm and unappetising. If you can take a packed lunch or by snacks from the other stops I would do this. Two day trip much better for spending longer at Pamukkale as there is a lot to see and to take time to relax in the pools. Hotel was clean but a bit dilapidated (don't swim in the pool- not clean) and food was edible but one passenger found something nasty in her food! More like a one star rather than a three but for one night it is tolerable, as we stopped at onyx factory, mosque, red water thermal pool, carpet factory with woman weaving was amazing. So you get a lot more of a trip than the one day for similar money. Tour guide 'Sultan' was great, very knowledgeable and fluent in many languages. So not the most comfortable ride or hotel but sites sites fantastic so outweigh these issues!
