Then it's time for a visit to Jazirat Al Hamra, a former fishing village which ceased trading in the 1960s. Onward to Al Hamra Marina, and you'll enjoy a photographic stop at an area comprising of 200 berths catering to motor boats and yachts. As you drive further on, you'll reach Mina Al Arab and see the peaceful mangroves, flamingos and more, before reaching Corniche Al Qawassim to enjoy stunning views and savor exquisite Arabic cuisine.
There's still more beauty to behold in the scenic location of Dhayah Fort, which offers wonderful views of the mountains and the sea. It's a strategic military fortification that played a major role in the history of the UAE. Mohammed Bin Salim Mosque is next on the list, before continuing to RAK National Museum, a fort that was the residence of the ruling family until the early 1960s. Last but not least, it's a drive through the fish market to explore the Old Souk where you can find the unexpected among the artefacts, clothing, shoes, souvenirs and more.
