What to Expect
The visit of Cesenatico begins from the famous canal harbor of Leonardo da Vinci, where you can admire the floating section of the Marine Museum, with several specimens of fishing boats and transport of the northern Adriatic, perfectly reconstructed.
The Museum is home to the section in which the traditions of fishing and navigation are nicely illustrated. Piazzetta delle Conserve, the next step, hides behind colorful lanes and just next to the fish market (created in 1800), still working.
A dip in the modern literature cannot be ignored in Cesenatico, the city that gave birth to Marino Moretti, poet and writer, and that today is testimony to his house. Finally, the visit to Cesenatico includes a walk along the beach to watch the Grand Hotel and other famous palaces, concrete example of the Sixties' economic boom.
Along the harbor fish, local restaurants leave you spoiled for choice to taste seasonal delicacies of the Adriatic Sea.
