Very nice hike, however it is true that it is difficult overall: a lot of elevation as well as 4 hours of intense walking with rather rainy weather in this month of September, which makes the descents muddy and slippery. Bring a walking stick, good hiking shoes and a small windbreaker in case of rain. Our guide was super nice and caring. We had lunch at the local's house with a local dish, very appetizing! We recommend ++, we were able to visit the entire island of Santiago after the hike.

Beautiful excursion to explore the hinterland of Santiago, on the paths used by local farmers, among dry stone walls, mango trees and wildlife (we also saw monkeys). The route is all downhill, without too many difficulties, but to be done with suitable shoes. Delicious lunch based on rice, fish and vegetables. Very knowledgeable, helpful and engaging guides (they taught us a few words in Creole!). In two words: STA SABI!

I really enjoyed the tour, the guide José was very helpful, he gave us very useful information, we can't forget to mention Zelito's excellent driving. I recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the island... good atmosphere, good mood and above all good landscapes.

Wow Highly recommend. Our guide Katia was very friendly, taught us a lot of things. The hike gives access to magnificent panoramic views. We ate a chef's meal. Thanks to Hermina, Niels and Katia for this unforgettable moment.

It is a nice experiences going around with a nice guide, exploring a local house and food and discovering places like Tarrafal. Too many hours, but it's really worthy.
