A fabulous once-in-a-lifetime experience tour!

Amazing! Stunning scenery, a very enjoyable and pleasurable drive. Guide informed us of everything and regular stops were very enjoyable too. I recommend this tour to everyone. Well worth the 14 hour trip of this tour all the way to Jokulsarlon! Jokulsarlon is an amazing sight not to be missed! Magical!

Fantastic scenery and a well organised tour

We had a lovely tour, Herman was a very knowledgeable guide and we were really lucky to have fantastic weather! The stops were a little on the short side but we were well prepared for this from reading other reviews beforehand. Overall, we loved all of the locations visited and had a fantastic and very memorable experience.

GLACIER LAGOON IS EPIC! Bustravel well exceeded my expectations!

Normally, I'm not a huge fan of bus tours. But, the Bustravel folks do it up right! My guide, Halla (I think I spelled that correctly) was knowledgeable, funny and entertaining. The bus looked brand new and very comfortable. I made a mistake by booking the tour on the wrong day. But, their customer service took care of it right away. The unique nature, waterfalls and Glacier Lagoon are ALL A MUST SEE.

Still in awe with the wonders of nature!

This is a must do trip if you're visiting Iceland. It was indeed a long excursion, 14+ hours. But it is well worth it. Make sure you have enough memory on your cameras for the trip. There are a lot of picture opportunities along the way and in every stop. Oh and a portable battery charger might come in handy as well. We took 3 stops for food, breakfast at a bakery, lunch before arriving at the Glacier Lagoon and a stop at Vik a small coastal town with an awesome view of the black sand beach. We also stopped at 2 waterfalls for the trip, normally 30 to 45 mins to take pictures and explore. The longest was at the Glacier lagoon about 1.5 hours. That included the boat ride. That was an additional 5000isk. There are tours that already include the boat ride so do your home work. There are months that they dont have any boat rides due to glacier crowding in the lagoon. The tour guide Rey was very entertaining, the bus driver Markus was very professional. Bus was comfy but had no wifi.
