It was amazing!! Veronica picked us up from the hotel (we added this to our booking through Troll Expeditions directly - totally worth it). She was very pleasant and friendly during the drive and had the van warmed up for us before we left. Kevin was an excellent guide who explained everything well. I’ve never worn a wetsuit so it a new and strange experience. You keep a base layer on (I had on a thermal shirt and leggings) and put a dry suit and wet suit over it. You change in the back of the heated truck. You get flippers and a snorkel mask to waddle over to the water. Kevin explained precisely how to approach by stepping onto the platform, putting your face in the water, pushing off and then flipping on your back Anytime you had difficulty breathing or water in the tube you could very easily flip on your back to fix it (or just drink the water because it is delicious!). The water was so clear! Kevin took GoPro photos too. It was a very worthwhile experience and memorable.
Amazing experience to see the fissure. Much better than expected.
