Top sights in Paris
The Seine might be one of the world's most scenic urban rivers, flanked by exquisite monuments such as Notre Dame and the Arc de Triomphe. A cruise is the best way to enjoy it as long as you don't forget anything essential! Here's what to pack.
Even if all's calm on the City of Love's streets, its river is exposed and highly susceptible to strong winds. Even in summer you might need a good jacket!
Again, the Seine is exposed and so are you. If you're not seeing the sights by night, you'll want to see them on a sunny day. Keep yourself protected!
Many of Paris' most famous sights can be seen by boat, opening the door to some fantastic photo opportunities. If you have them, enhance the experience by bringing binoculars too!
Unless you're taking a dinner cruise of course! But even then you should think about bringing your own water bottle.
Corny? Perhaps. But hey, it's Paris! Why not check out some other tour options to round off a romantic day?
A Seine river cruise can cost anything from €10 per person for a basic boat tour to upwards of €200 for a candle-lit, gourmet dinner cruise by night.
776 kilometers. Oh wait, you meant the cruise? With dinner and entertainment you could be looking at up to 4 hours, but if you don't have that kind of time to spare, the less expensive ones should only take an hour!

What people are saying about Seine River
Top end food and drink, friendly attentive waiter and shown straight to our table on arrival. Really enjoyable evening. Waiter kept our wine glasses (2 botts !) Topped up all night. Views from boat amaxing and guide info perfect. The 2.5 hours flew by too quick for us. Will be doing this again. Nice touch was i spotted bridge i had proposed on night before to Diane and got a pic. Spoke to a lovely american retired couple next to us most of night. Evening overall was just perfect....John and Diane from Aberdeen
My wife and I visited Paris for the first time and wanted to go on a night cruise. It was lovely to see the sights along the Seine river at night while everything was all lit up. Seeing the Eiffel Tower all lit up and sparkling was a real highlight. To hear the audio though we needed to use the free wifi, which we didn't use. So we couldn't hear any commentary unfortunately. Overall it was a pleasant cruise and a lovely, relaxing evening!
The ride was nice, however, the concept of using your phone's WiFi to listen to commentary was not very useful considering that it does not work unless you stay on that page. This meant that I was not able to use it since I take photos with my cellphone. Very annoying. Even when going on the inside to listen to the little speakers coming from the seating, the sound would often cut out.
Alain was a true professional, made sure that he kept the session easy-going and comfortable. We felt like a friend was taking our pictures. Due to the inability to secure a large enough Uber ride to get to the Eiffel Tower in a timely manner, we improvised to the surrounding area and couldn't be happier with the results. Highly recommend using his services.
The view was incredible and the food was a great balance for the kids and the adult (everyone got something they liked) the cruise was just beautiful and I would definitely recommend it. You just need to go to the restaurant first to collect the ticket for the cruise (that was a bit confusing but the staff were very helpful)
