What people are saying about Scotland

This was so worth it! This is the perfect guided tour if your traveling solo and kind of want to relax, meet people, see some beautiful landscapes and learn about Scottish history. Our tour guid was the absolute best! He told us stories and history of Scotland. He played traditional and modern Scottish music as well. It didn’t feel like I was in school, in history class. He made it intriguing, exciting and engaging. Since it was really overcast and in winter with very little time for sunlight, he took us to extra little spots in isle of sky. It was definitely worth it. Not even the rain, clouds or crazy winds can ruin this tour. This was definitely the highlight of my trip!

Doug provided a great summary of the process of distillery, aging and distribution of whiskies. Then we enjoyed a "flight" of 4 whiskies at one historic bar in Old Town, then moved on to another lovely bar to try a couple more whiskies (more aged...21 and 34 years old). Explanations, ratings and methods of tasting.... All in all, a wonderful, entertaining, educational and tasty experience!

Edinburgh is quite a big city so the bus really helped with the walking. There are three routes to choose from and it’s great for getting out to the Botanic Gardens, the yacht and Holyrood House. Loved the Royal Yacht Britannia and would recommend the tea room.

An eventful day! So worth it—many stops, perfect amount of sitting and then getting out of the bus. The stories are incredible, our guide Ray was our favorite part!

Excellent tour with an experienced guide! Very fun and never a boring moment, the music Ray played while driving through the scenery was very cathartic!
