Alessio is just the best, as the other reviewers said, he makes a really great tour with a nice little surprise at the end of the tour. Alessio is the guy you want ! on time, clean car, speaks english and spanish fluently and he really enjoys what he is doing ! even though I had to catch a flight after the tour and to get a negativ covid test, Alessio managed everything just on time ! and everything for a reasonable price! (not like other local cab drivers !) I can only recommend and hope to see him soon again !

    2. From Catania: Full-Day The Godfather Tour

The tour will begin with a visit to Savoca, one of the most picturesque medieval villages of Sicily, inserted in the circuit of the most beautiful villages in Italy since 2008. Also named Terra Ferace of Gagliardi Ingegni and country of seven faces, this delightful city of art has been chosen as a set for several important films including The Godfather, directed by Francis Ford Coppola. You will start from one of the most important places in Savoca, the Vitelli Bar, then go on a stroll through the alleys of the village, immersed in a suggestive landscaping setting. Admire the ruins of an ancient synagogue, a precious mullion in a pure 15-century style and you will reach the historic center of the country, which, according to some historians, is rooted in Roman times. Visit the church of San Nicolò, built in the 13th century and restructured in the 18th century, where some well-k...

We took this tour on the day of our 60th anniversary. Our guide Natasha met us at our hotel. Natasha and our driver Atimo were training a new guide and driver, Veronica and Mirko. We were the only tourists , we had a very special private tour. Natasha took pictures of us with our camera in all the special locations, now we have a permanent record of our memorable day. Natasha was very knowledgeable about Savoca and everything about the Godfather. She also was very knowledgeable about the Volcano, Cantania and all the areas we visited. Atimo was also very knowledgeable, commenting on different aspects of Sicily. Unfortunately the free time allotted for our stop in Taormina was during the period that all the stores were closed for a long lunch. As we had been to Taormina two days before, we found a nice place to have lunch, enjoy the sun and people watch. With fewer people around we were able to go back to some of the places a second time. Natasha and Atimo, Thank You!!

Wonderful, i was the only one and Alessio made sure i have a great time. He explained me all the details where the filming of Godfather took place. We had coffee and light lunch with dessert. Since we had some time left he took me Taormina again as in the last trip i could not explore it well. Highly recommended tour

The best experience! A birthday gift for my husband but actually I enjoyed it very much as well. Our guide was so knowledgeable and accommodating. We were happy to do the Godfather tour and full day Etna with him.

Great tour with Alessio. I was one of the first post COVID, followed all the rules with mask and distance etc. Lots of great information and personal attention.

Our guide Alessio is a very knowledgeable and well mannered person. The trip was fantastic and we loved every minute! Grazie!
