1. Sarajevo: Tour to Mostar, Blagaj, Počitelj & Kravice Falls

The day trip starts in the morning, 8 am. The meeting point can be upon request, either from the tour agency or from your hotel. Feel free to make your own request. The guide will give you a short introduction of the tour, and you can sit  comfortably in your seat, and enjoy the view. Driving over the mountains, you will be shown almost the exact line between Bosnia and Herzegovina. Also, depending which time of the year you take a tour, you will be fascinated by the nature. Every season has its own color. Head to Mostar, enjoying the view on Jablanicko lake, and amazing nature. For those interested in communism, go to Jablanica to see a piece of history where you see a ruined old train bridge which is a witness of the Battle of the Neretva, also known as the Battle for the Wounded. Mostar will wait for you with its warm climate, unique beauty and amazing history. Your guide will take you on Mostar Old town sightseeing, to show you the Unesco Heritage monument, a worldwide famous Old Bridge, and you will hear all the legends and stories about this amazing example of Ottoman architecture from the 16th century. You will also get an opportunity to see a short video in a local gallery about the bridge destruction in '93, and witness human horror. Bridges are used to connect people and this one was destroyed to separate people. After this tour through Mostar, your guide will suggest you to have lunch either in Mostar’s local restaurants, or to go to Blagaj. The beautiful Blagaj is a small village built at the source of crystal clear river Buna. Buna flows out of the 200m high mountain cliffs that overlook the area. Blagaj is known as a pearl of Herzegovina and here we recommend you to taste the trout at some of the local restaurants. The authentic 16th-century Ottoman town and open-air museum of Počitelj is the next stop. Its amazing architecture and location will surely excite you. Finally, begin the journey back to Sarajevo. Stop at the breathtaking Kravica Falls for a swim in the crystal-clear waters before getting dropped off at your hotel.

It was a great experience. The best part of the tour is that, it has a personal touch since the groups are small. My guide Adnan was excellent! He is well knowledgeable about the history of the sites and the country in general. He easily answered all my questions.
