Full description
Start with the breath-taking view at the Prophet Elias Monastery and visit the picturesque monastery. Then head to Megalochori village, an extremely charming traditional settlement, almost abandoned after a major earthquake. Your trip continues to Akrotiri Excavations, one of the most significant archaelogical sites in Greece that includes a vast structure, once inhabited by 200 families. The site was preserved, buried under the volcano’s lava. Then you will have free time at the Red Beach to simply enjoy the colorful formations of the mountain and/or visit Akrotiri Bay for coffee or lunch with Greek traditional mezedes and ouzo (not included in the price). Perivolos, with its black sandy beach, comes next. There you will have enough time to enjoy swimming, explore the area, and taste fresh cooked fishes at the local taverns. The last stop is one of the most popular wineries in Santorini, for a wine tasting experience.

Initially, I wasn’t interested in this tour but I’m so glad I decided to book it. Tanya, my guide was so awesome — You can tell she really wanted everyone to have a good time. She’s the sweetest and just the best. We had a separate guide for the Akrotiri tour and she was great too. It was an overall great experience and I highly recommend this tour and Kamari Tour for anyone visiting beautiful Santorini!

Fantastic

Tanya was so funny and informative, the tour was great visiting many places that arent listed such as the prochet llias temple and the town by red beach. Sadly the weather was too wild for swimming but we still had time to go for a meal and splash in the waves at black beach. The wine tasting was fab. For only €35 euros each this is definitely a fab tour seeing the main places of santorini and getting a guide aswell. Worth the price just for the views from the winery and monks temple. The archeological site was absolutely out of this world, one of the best things we have seen here. Picked up on time and dropped off just round the corner from our hotel. Would definitely recommend. Do this tour and the tour of the volcano/sunset/hot springs on the boat and you will cover about 80% santorini

Our tour guide Tanya was amazing. she was funny and entertaining and managed to keep a bus load of people together in a group. The tour was great also, stopped at a few interesting spots. The ruins were very fascinating, even more so that they are still finding artifacts today! Stopped at a nice spot for lunch where we had some free time before continuing the tour.
