Georgia Dimas was excellent. Her tour was fascinating, full of knowledge of Akrotiri, expertly told to us, easy to understand and appreciate the sight of Akrotiri! There had been a new find at the sight which she shared with us. I highly recommend Georgia! We couldn't have had a better tour!

A fascinating tour 3,600 years back in time!

A one day ferry strike almost sabotaged our guided tour in Akrotiri. But Georgia Dimas managed to juggle appointments so that we did get our tour, and she even picked us up at our hotel in Fira! To make a long story short, Georgia made the ancient and amazingly well preserved town come alive in front of our eyes. A high point of our four day stay in Santorini!

    Our guide, Myesini, was amazing!

The tour was not 2 hours as advertised but an hour was perfect actually. We went in low season so we had much of the place to ourselves, I can imagine that if you go in July or August you might need the whole two hours! Our guide, Myesini (pronounced Mer-see-nee) is a young archaeologist who is passionate and sincere. She didn’t just regurgitate information that she had memorized, she was really happy to share her knowledge of Akrotiri. She loves her island and appreciated our interest. The tour wasn’t inexpensive by any stretch, but thankfully we had a memorable guide to make it worth it!
