What to Expect
Spend a day exploring the coastal towns of Valparaíso and Viña del Mar on this private tour from Santiago.
Valparaíso, known for its unique architecture and its historical center, is a enchanting labyrinth built on several cerros, or hills. You can explore the city by climbing its hills along small streets or riding the historical funiculars. Its strategic location offers several viewpoints with panoramic views of the colorful houses, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Your guide will take you to Mirador 21 de Mayo, so you can enjoy views of the harbor and the Pacific Ocean. Afterwards you’ll stop at La Sebastiana, Chilean Nobel Prize-winning author Pablo Neruda's house, which inspired several of his poems.
The tour continues to Viña del Mar, Chile’s premier seaside resort. Known as the garden city for its lovely parks and flower-lined streets, the town features a large flower clock with its numbers made of flowering plants.
