Santiago to Puerto Plata: One Way and Round Trip

As soon as we got out of Santiago Airport we saw a representative of Cocotours holding the sign outside and we approach the guy right away and told him we have a round trip voucher going to Cofresi Palm Beach and Spa Resort.The name of the driver is Jose and he is really very nice.When our vacation was over we tried to call Cocotour to confirm our departure but we could not reached anybody.The drive from Santiago Airport to the resort is about an hour and a half and we were worried nobody will pick us up.At about four o'clock in the morning on Tuesday,09/04/12 our departure date Jose ,our driver was already waiting for us outside the resort lobby.He took us back at the airport with more than enough time to catch our 8:30 am flight.So all we can say ,our experience with Cocotour is far beyond our expectations and we would not hesitate to use them again in the future and even recommend them to our friends.

This transport company is the BEST! Professional and always on time. We were worried about having a late flight (11:00 PM) into Santiago and then needing a hour-and-a-half transport to Puerto Plata. Additionally, our flight was delayed by an hour. Even with all this, Coco Tours was waiting patiently outside the airport and, when we couldn't find each other, their driver found is us! We arrived in Puerto Plata with no difficulty. The journey back from Puerto Plata to Santiago was perfect and, as expected, the driver was on time. And then, they even anticipated us needing a ride from our hotel in Santiago back to the airport the next day at 4:45 AM and, OF COURSE, they were on time and courteous. Look no further as this company is as good as they come!

Round trip from Santiago to Puerto Plata was very good, driver and vehicle were clean. He drove excellent, not like most of the other drivers we used and he was on time. When we scheduled the trip we were told it would be a 3 hour one way trip. the driver did not speed and it only took 1 hour and 15 minutes each way. My only complaint is I had a hard time verifying the day before each trip to make sure of the time and place of pick up were. I would prefer the company to verify with me instead of visa versa .
