Next, travel along the main street of Santarém, Tapajos Av. to visit the Nossa Senhora da Conceição Cathedral. Then, visit the João Fona Museum, with many indigenous artifacts, and learn about the long history of Santarém.
You will then travel to a viewpoint to admire a panorama of the city and its rivers, before boarding a local “Voadeira” boat to see the point where the Amazonas and Tapajos rivers meet.
