1. Uvita: Surf Some of the Best Waves of Costa Rica 8 Days

Tropical living Travel Costa Rica Surf camp Costa Rica is surrounded by lush jungle and raw nature, the perfect starting point for your adventure holiday. Wake up to the sound of wild monkeys and singing birds and take the short walk down to the beach for a morning surf. Rooms Choose between our dorms and double rooms. At our camp, all the rooms have a rustic design, plenty of light, comfortable beds, share kitchen, swimming pool, free parking. Facilities Go for a dip in the pool, order a tropical cocktail in the bar, chill in the shade in a hammock or get to know your fellow travellers. Swimming pool Our pool is ideal for a refreshing morning swim, and as a fun place to hang out after the surf session. This is the social heart of the camp, perfect for getting to know your surf buddies. Pool bar Next to the pool, you find our bar, serving up a range of tropical cocktails and beer. Hang-out area Here we gather for breakfast and family dinners. It's also available for you to enjoy during the day to eat lunch, chill out with a book. Food We serve breakfast every day at the camp, and most evenings, we have fun family dinners by the pool. That'll allow you to get to know your new tribe over great food made by our amazing local staff. Some nights we go out for dinner to experience the local food scene and great vibes of Uvita. HOW TO GET HERE The journey is an adventure The best way to get here is to fly into San Jose Airport (SJO) and travel from there via bus to Uvita. You can book the transfer with us when you book your camp. We recommend that you arrive in San Jose the night before you need to be at the camp or super early in the morning on Monday. The reason for this is that it takes around 4-5 hours to get to the camp from San Jose. Go cliff jumping in the Uvita Waterfalls The waterfalls of Costa Rica are world-famous, and the nicest one is very close to our camp, only 10 minutes by bike. See this beautiful waterfall, swim in the pool underneath it and get some air cliff jumping off the rocks! Explore the beautiful beaches of the Osa Peninsula The beaches of Santa Teresa are pristine, postcard-perfect. Here you can still find a lot of hidden gems, and we love getting on a bike to discover them ourselves. Local tip; check out "Secret Beach", for a proper Cast Away-feeling.
