Santiago: Private City Tour with Optional Lunch and Winery

1. Santiago: Private City Tour with Optional Lunch and Winery

Discover Santiago's mix of colonial mansions and modern skyscrapers on a private half-day or full-day tour. Beneift from the flexibility to custom-make your day according to your likings of the suggested trip itinerary. Start with a visit to the Club Hípico de Santiago to marvel at a replica of one of the most beautiful equestrian clubs in France. Venture over to the old upscale neighborhood of the city center and be mesmerized by its architecture. Then explore the civic center, including the cathedral, parade ground, and Palacio de La Moneda. Depending on which option you choose, climb to the top of San Cristobal Hill in the biggest urban park in Santiago or the Santa Lucia Hill (or both). Visit a traditional craft shop and arrive at the Mercado Central (Central Market). If opting for the half-day tour, this is a good place to enjoy a typical lunch at your own expense. If you choose the full-day option with a winery visit, head south for lunch at a country restaurant surrounded by nature. After lunch, choose between a visit to the Santa Rita, Concha y Toro, or Undurraga wineries for wine tastings and a tour of the wine estate. Finish the day with a visit to the top of the Sky Costanera (if option selected).

Santiago: Half–Day Santa Rita Vineyard Tour

2. Santiago: Half–Day Santa Rita Vineyard Tour

After pick–up from your hotel in the morning or afternoon in an air–conditioned van, head approximately 40 minutes south of the city. On the road the guide will give you an introduction to the Maipo Valley and the vineyard that you are going to visit. This is a perfect moment to ask questions you may have about the lives of Chileans and their traditions. Close to the vineyard is a little town called Alto Jahuel, where the people of Santiago go to escape the noise of the city. When you arrive at the vineyard, see the majestic landscape and the big house before the tour starts.   Begin your guided tour through the vineyards, starting at the wineries and finishing with the wine bottling process. Visit the historic Bodega 1 made of cal y canto, and the famous national treasure, Bodega de los 120 Patriotas. The tour finishes with an amazing wine tasting of some great aged wines. Afterwards, you have time to buy some souvenirs or if you prefer, some bottles of wine to enjoy later.

This was an exceptional tour from start to finish. Our driver picked us up promptly in a spotless car and was an excellent and informative driver. He ensured we had the English language tour and that everything went smoothly . The winery itself is in a wonderful setting with fascinating history and a fantastic museum. And most importantly the wines we sampled were superb with generous servings. A perfect final day for our stay in Santiago.

The tour was great, even though I had done the hop on hop off bus tour, and seen most things offered, I really didn't know what I was looking at, other than Google info. Our guide was great, unfortunately, can't remember his name, too many tours....would definitely recommend

Was able to visit many of the top sights in Chile with and English speaking guide. Was by myself and did not speak Spanish - so much better and safer than me trying to figure out where to visit and finding the best transportation!

We had a thoroughly enjoyable day in Santiago de Chile and I would especially like to mention our guide Luis, who made sure that this day was unforgettable for us - in a positive way!

I really enjoyed the tour, Camila was very attentive and the visit to the winery was very interesting!
