Transfer was seamless the shared mini bus was full the plane landed 4 hours late but the transport waited to take everyone to their destination

The tour operator Pampa was on time at the airport, with a list of passengers. It took me a while to orientate as I did not know who the operator was and only had GetYourGuide in mind. It is important to note that you should know who the tour operator is as there is no GYG person/stand to go to. Pampa's driver was a seasoned local. Seats were comfortable, vehicle air conditioned and trip pleasant as you take in the local landscape. It wasn't an inconvenience stopping at each guest house as we dropped others off. I have yet to take the return trip. I have not received confirmation of my pick up time and hope the transport arrangements back are good too.

I did not do this trip. First I requested a transfer to coincide with a 7.42 flight departure from Calama but was told that the bus was full and asked if I wanted to cancel. At first I did want to, but eventually I noticed very small writing in Spanish (by the driver I think) that 4-4.30 am pickup from my hotel was available. I asked the office if this was still available but it was the weekend and no quick response was guaranteed by the company, nor was it provided. Finally I made arrangements for a transfer with a different company. Then at about 4.20 am the driver showed up offering to take me to Calama! I declined saying I had told the office I had made other arrangements (i.e. cancelled). All a bit messy really.
