What to Expect
Old San Juan is the oldest settlement in Puerto Rico and it can be found in the historic colonial section of San Juan, Puerto Rico. This is where you will find many fine works of Spanish colonial architecture and historic landmarks, which makes this destination a must-see.
Driving into Old San Juan you will pass the white-marbled Capitol Building along the City Wall, called La Muralla. Visit Museum Las Americas at the Cuartel de Ballajá with amazing Exhibitions of Indigenous and African Heritage.
The tour also includes a 30-minute stop at the historic 500 year old San Cristobal Fort, which started to be constructed in 1634 to protect the City from foreign invasions.
At the end of the tour you will have about 45 minutes of shopping at numerous stores where you can buy nice San Juan and Puerto Rico memorabilia, crafts from local artisans, and even designer clothing, bags or shoes.
