  • Discover the beauty of the only rainforest in the U.S. Forestry system with this fully guided nature walk
  • Experience the magnificence and beauty of La Mina Falls.
  • See the lush plant life and colorful wildlife of El Yunque National Forest
Put on your walking shoes and step into the lush rainforest world of El Yunque National Forest on this nature walk tour. Discover the diverse, colorful animal and plant life of the Puerto Rican rainforest before relaxing under beautiful La Mina Waterfall.
What to Expect
Your day will start with a relaxing ride to the top of the national rainforest, El Yunque National Forest. After seeing the beautiful scenery from the bus, you'll meet your guides, receive your pre-packed backpack complete with towel, water, and snacks, and start your adventure into the interior of the rainforest.

As you walk into the forest and leave the rest of the world behind, the cool, fresh air will take over your senses and you'll be greeted by the sights and sounds of the wind and water. While on the nature walk, your informative guide will be telling you all about the rainforest: its wildlife, its elevations and temperatures, how much rain falls, and about its history.

As the walk progresses, you will see incredible plants and trees, birds and waterfalls, a crystal clear river flowing through the rocks and trees along the walking path, and many other tropical wonders.

Upon reaching the beautiful La Mina Waterfall, stop and relax under the majestic canopy of the rainforest while enjoying snacks and cold water.

After the 25-30 minute break, the group will start their return along the El Yunque nature trail.
