Full description
This panoramic night tour of San Francisco will take you from Fisherman's Wharf and along Union Street to the Presidio where you’ll enjoy spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge from Marina Green and Crissy Fields. Returning to the city, your open-top bus climbs to the top of California Street on this 1-hour tour to see Grace Cathedral and historical, stately Nob Hill. From here, the tour heads downtown to capture the city skyline, the imposing Bay Bridge, and the hidden side of AT&T Park, which is home to the San Francisco Giants. The bus will cross the Bay Bridge for a breathtaking view of the city from Treasure Island. Once the bus returns to the city we continue along the Embarcadero and admire the lights of the Port of San Francisco. The tour departs from the San Francisco Visitor Center at FIsherman's Wharf. A courtesy shuttle will take you back to Union Square at the end of the tour.

I thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Being a solo traveler, I was able to see much of San Francisco in one shot. The driver (forgot his name) was funny and attentive. I adored him. The tour is narrated via earbuds & pre-recorded audio. I made the mistake of sitting upstairs. I had no idea we were going across the Bay Bridge. Quite scary being so close to the ceiling of the bottom level with no bus ceiling for cover. Also, going down those hills while sitting on the top level is roller coaster-ish. I hate roller coasters. I don't know what I was thinking. Still, although I scared myself a few times, I would totally do this trip again, from inside on the 1st level. It's COLD up top, especially across the bridge and this was July 25, 2021. Wear sunglasses if sitting up top & a hoodie you can tighten.

This is a wonderful and easy way to get a taste of San Francisco-it’s history, the people, the streets, and glorious views! Using the earphones as a type of self guided trip as we were driven through the city and different places of interest was an excellent way of showing us tourists what this area had been and is. We can highly recommend this venue as one of the first ways to tour. Be sure and layer well as it can get cold at night on top of an open air bus, bring a blanket, and be sure and leave a gratuity to the driver who deftly steers through the different and very interesting locations.
