Day 1: Train Cemetery - Colchani - Hotel de Sal - Isla Incahuasi Start of the tour will start with the visit of the train cemetery to see the old locomotives. Then we go to the community of Colchani (the entrance door to the Salar) where we will find rustic handicraft workshops and the rustic micro-processing of table salt. Continuing with the expedition to the majestic Salar de Uyuni we will make stops to see salt extractions, eyes of the salar and the hotel of Sal Playa Blanca that currently only works as a museum. Later we will visit the most popular island of the Salar located in the middle of the Salar, the Incahuasi island where we will walk and we can appreciate large expanses of cactus, sea rock fossils and spectacular 360 ° views from the viewpoint. Continuing, we arrive at the town of Huayllajara where we will taste a dinner, and spend the night in a community family lodging Day 3: Fumaroles - Thermal springs of Polques - Green Lagoon - Valley of the rocks - San Cristóbal - Uyuni The day starts very early in the morning with a breakfast and departure to the fumaroles and cracks in the earth where volcanic lava, sulphurous gases. Following the route we will arrive at the thermal waters (waters that are beneficial for the healing of arthritis) where you can take a bath and restful rest, the water has a temperature of 25 to 32 ° C. We continue the journey through the second desert in our tour of Salvador Dalí which has an excellent panoramic view and resemble this desert landscape. We will leave towards the Uyuni Salt Flat, passing by the train cemetery and the town of Colchani before, where we will be able to buy craftwork. After that, once we are on the salt flat, we will visit the Salt Museum, and we will travel to the Incahuasi Island, a limestone formation in the center of the salt flat. Here we will be able to walk by a track, see the giant cactus and have a privileged view of the salt flat from the top of the hill. We will end the day seeing the sunset inside the salt flat, so then we can go to the Colcha K hostel, where we will have dinner and rest for the next day. Day 2: During the morning, we will leave Colcha K and keep going by the road that goes through the Chiguana Salt Flat. We will visit the Cañapa, Hedionda, Honda and Chiarkota lagoons, before enter to the Siloli Desert. We will end the day in the Colorada Lagoon, nesting center of more than 30,000 flamingos. We will spend the night in the Refugio Huayllajara. Day 3: We will leave early in the morning to see the sunrise in the Sol de Mañana Geysers, intermittent sources of water that rise at a 90°C temperature, and where we will have the chance of taking pictures using the contrasts of the first lights and the steam. In addition, we will visit the Polques Hot Springs (time to bathe, according to the times of the tour), the Salvador Dalí Desert, and the Verde Lagoon and Blanca Lagoon, located in the foothills of the Licancabur Volcano. In addition, we will pass by the Valle de Rocas and San Cristóbal, so after that, we will begin our direct return to Uyuni, where we will end the tour.

We will spend the night at the Huayllajara Refuge. Day 3: We will leave early in the morning to see the sunrise at the Sol de Mañana Geysers, intermittent water sources that rise to a temperature of 90°C, and where we will have the opportunity to take photographs taking advantage of the contrasts of the first lights. and steam. After visiting Villa Mar and the Valley of the Rocks, we will arrive at the town of San Cristobal. Finally, we will continue to Uyuni to conclude our trip. We will visit the Cañapa, Hedionda, Honda and Chiarkota lagoons before entering the Siloli desert. We will conclude the day at the Colorada Lagoon, which is an important nesting center for more than 30,000 flamingos. We will spend the night at the Huayllajara refuge. Day 3: We will start early in the morning to witness the sunrise at the Sol de Mañana geysers, where water fountains gush intermittently at a temperature of 90°C, offering a unique spectacle that will allow us to capture fascinating photographs with the contrasts of the first lights and steam. Afterwards, we will visit the Polques hot springs, with enough time to enjoy a swim if the tour itinerary allows it. We will continue exploring the Salvador Dali desert, as well as the Verde and Blanca lagoons, located near the Licancabur Volcano. We will also make stops at Valle de Rocas and San Cristobal, before heading directly back to Uyuni, where we will conclude the tour at 18:00. Altiplano winter: During the months of January to April, the climatic phenomenon known as the Altiplanic winter, characterized by rainfall in the central Andes, occurs. This could imply modifications in the itinerary, such as spending the first night in a hostel in Uyuni and the absence of the visit to Incahuasi Island, due to the higher concentration of water during this period.

Finally, head to a spacious area to experience the unique beauty of a sunset over the salt flat, with its stunning colors spreading across the Salar de Uyuni, and enjoy it with a glass of wine. Accommodation: Agencha Hostel: rooms with 3, 4, 5, and 6 beds + shared bathrooms / no Wi-Fi Day 2: Departure at 6:30 AM for breakfast. The first stop is the Chiguana Desert, on the southern side of the Salar de Uyuni, surrounded by volcanoes such as Ollagüe, which is still active and visible from the viewpoint. Then continue on the rocky road to visit: Cañapa, Hedionda, and Chiarcota Lagoons, where you can see flamingos. After lunch, enter the "Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve," visit the Siloli Desert (the highest and driest in the world), and take a photo next to the "Rock Tree" (a lava rock formation). Before reaching the final destination, stop at the Red Lagoon viewpoint to see more pink flamingos in their natural habitat and admire this intensely red lake. Afterward, you’ll have the opportunity to bathe in an outdoor hot spring with water at 35°C. Next, appreciate the Dali Desert and the Green and White Lagoons. Then, return to Uyuni passing through beautiful landscapes on the way and have a picnic lunch by the roadside. On the way, pass through the Valley of Rocks and make a brief stop in the village of San Cristóbal for a bathroom break. Arrive in the city of Uyuni between 5:45 PM and 6:45 PM. Day 02: Incahuasi - San Cristóbal We will leave the hotel early in the morning and take the road through the town of San Cristobal. Our itinerary will include a visit to the Valley of Rocks and the Black Lagoon, followed by a tour of the impressive Bolivian Altiplano lagoons. We will make stops at lakes such as Cañapa, Hedionda and Chiarkota to take photographs and take a break from the journey in the vehicle. We will also stop at Laguna Honda before continuing on to our second place of accommodation. Day 03: Laguna Colorada - San Pedro de Atacama On this last day of our tour, we will explore the impressive Laguna Colorada, one of the most outstanding destinations in the Bolivian Altiplano after the Salar de Uyuni. Afterwards, we will head to the Sol de Mañana Geysers and the Polques Hot Springs, before making our last stops at the enchanting Lagunas Blanca and Verde, located at the foot of the majestic Licancabur Volcano. We will conclude our journey by arriving at the border post with Chile, from where we will continue our journey to San Pedro de Atacama, thus ending our tour, as it is done in the standard itinerary of the Salar de Uyuni and Lagunas de Colores.

We leave to the Ollague volcano viewpoint, to appreciate a volcanic desert landscape and the scarce high Andean vegetation. Then we visit Chiarkota lagoon, Laguna Hedionda (name due to the smell of sulfur), Onda lagoon, Ramaditas lagoon, these lagoons are surrounded by flamingos which use them as feeding and resting points during their migratory movements and by midday we have lunch on the road. We continue our journey to the Siloli desert where we find the stone tree (strange rocky form). We continue our way to Laguna Colorada which is very striking for its reddish color. Continuing, we arrive to the town of Huayllajara where we will have dinner and spend the night in a family community lodging (basic lodging). Day 3: Fumarolas - Polques Hot Springs - Laguna Verde -Uyuni We will leave very early in the morning to see the sunrise at the Morning Sun geysers, intermittent sources of water gushing at a temperature of 90 °C, and where we will have the opportunity to take pictures taking advantage of the contrasts of the first lights and steam. We will also visit the Polques hot springs (time for a bath according to the tour times), the Salvador Dalí desert, and the Green Lagoon and the White Lagoon, located at the foot of the Licancabur volcano. We will also pass through the Valley of Rocks and San Cristobal, and then continue our return directly to Uyuni, where we will finish the tour.
