Discover a unique and special hideaway in the Bariloche area on this 7-hour tour from Puerto Pañuelo to Isla Victoria and Los Arrayanes National Park. Sail across Nahuel Huapi Lake to enjoy the magnificent views and impressive natural surroundings.
What to Expect
This 7-hour tour takes you on a discovery of Isla Victoria and Los Arrayanes National Park. The tour begins at Puerto Pañuelo, 25 kilometers from San Carlos de Bariloche. You will meet opposite Llao Llao Hotel, from where you can transfer either with the tour service, the regular “3 de Mayo” buses, or in your own car.
You will sail for 30 minutes on Nahuel Huapi Lake to Puerto Anchorena, located in the middle of the Isla Victoria’s shoreline, at the narrowest part. Here you can walk with a guide or on your own along the marked trails. The most outstanding walks are the former National Nursery Trail, the Antonio Pargade Interpretation Trail, Puerto Gross and the old settlement, cave paintings and Playa del Toro, and the Balcony on Cerro Bella Vista, among others. All the corners of the island, with their magnificent views, wealth of history, and impressive natural surroundings, make the walks thoroughly enjoyable.
You can then enjoy lunch at the Huaiquil restaurant, which was reopened a few years ago and offers an innovative menu. The tour then continues by boat to the Quetrihué Peninsula where you can explore Los Arrayanes National Park. A boardwalk leads through the magical atmosphere of a unique forest of magnificent Arrayán trees growing over 15 meters tall, with their thick, cinnamon-colored trunks with white patches.
