  1. Lake Excursion to Victoria Island and Arrayanes Forest

  Start the first section of the tour in the Quetrihue Peninsula where you will visit the Arrayanes Forst.  After a quick walk, you will arrive at Bosque de Arrayanes where you will stay for 45 minutes and cross the forest on a path that is 2625 feet (800m) long. This trip culminates in the mythical cabin that functions as a tea house. From there you will board the catamaran and resumes your tour as you head to Bahía Anchorena. After several minutes of navigation, the catamaran will arrive at Puerto Anchorena. Once off the boat, you will begin your tour of the island. Among the possible activities, you can take the historical route, which is a 1-hour walk where you will have access to information related to the history of the island and its flora and fauna.   5. San Martín de los Andes por 7 Lagos

  Begin your full-day tour from your hotel in Bariloche at 8 AM.  Then, head north through the town of Dina Huapi and the bridge over the Limay River, connecting to the legendary Route 40. Along the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi, make your first short stop in Villa la Angostura, a town with mountain architecture ideal for walking on foot. Next, start walking an incredible path surrounded by mountains and lakes.  Make stops along the way to experience the hike to its fullest. On the Road of the Seven Lakes, see Espejo Lake, Correntoso Lake, Villarino Lake, Falkner, Escondido Lake, Machónico Lake, and Lácar Lake, before finally arriving at the city of San Martin. You will have free time to explore the city and have lunch in front of the lake before starting the return along the same path. After making your last stop at Villa la Angostura, arrive in Bariloche at approximately 6:30 PM.

  6. Bariloche: 4-Hour Cerro Catedral Base Tour

  Cerro Catedral is the largest ski center in the southern hemisphere and offers an expansive list of winter sport services. It is open all year and has 34 means of lifts (between chairlifts, cabins, and towing equipment), facilitating the ascent of 36 thousand people per hour.   7. Bariloche: Cerro Otto Cable Car

  See stunning natural sights all year long, each season with its own charm. The cable car rises to the summit at 1,405 meters above sea level, you can see the incredible panoramas from any of the 42 panoramic gondolas, with capacity for 4 people each.  Once at the top, you can enjoy a meal and a hot beverage at the Rotating Cafeteria, unique to South America, which allows you to appreciate the entire landscape through large windows while enjoying excellent regional cuisine. It also has an art gallery with the exact life-size casts of the most important works of Michelangelo Buonarroti: The David, The Moses and La Piedad. Visit the small cinema and disco Otto House Music. At the outside area you can enjoy snowshoe hikes through the woods, sliding tracks with sleds in winter or inflatables during the rest of the year.

  8. Circuito Chico

  A popular tour of Bariloche, this half-day circular route begins in the city and heads out to Lake Nahuel Huapi and Playa Bonita. From Playa Bonita you’ll be able to see Huemul Island. When you reach the foot of Cerro Campanario there’s a chairlift that takes people to the summit (1,050 meters). If you choose to take this optional ride to the top you’ll marvel at some of the most spectacular views of the region. The circuit continues on the San Pedro peninsula to the Llao Llao area. Admire St. Edward’s Chapel, an architectural jewel, and head to Puero Scarf on Lake Nahuel Huapi, where sailing excursions on the lake depart. To the south are stunning views of the Llao Llao Hotel, framed by the Chapel Hill and Cerro Lopez.   10. Cerro Tronador

  On this full-day excursion you’ll take in some of the most breathtaking features of the Nahuel Huapi National Park. Visit lakes, beaches, mountains, and waterfalls, and admire the highest mountain in the Patagonia. Mount Tronador, 3,478 meters high, forms a natural border between Chile and Argentina. From the viewpoint at its base you can see the incredible glacier that feeds the Manso River. See the Ventisquero Negro (Black Glacier) that consists of huge brownish-gray blocks formed by avalanches of ice and mud. Visit La Garganta del Diablo (The Devil’s Throat), a waterfall created by melted glacial ice, surrounded by high rock walls, and see the Saltillo de las Nalcas, a hidden waterfall in the middle of the forest. This mountain’s name, Tronador, comes from the thunderous sounds produced by the massive falling blocks of ice.

  Overall, a very good tour. The tour involves a quite lengthy drive on rough land inside the national park which was indeed tiring but amusing. This is the only way to drive inside the park anyway. Our guide Isis was great: very friendly, very knowledgeable and super helpful. The tour was also good in terms of organization, stops for toilet and brief stops for photos at scenic spots. Something noteworthy (at least to me) is the absence of trash bins in almost all locations. Visitors must return with their residuals due to the limited garbage collection service imposed by the nature of the place. Recommended.
