Great tour! Was originally weary because of the predicted rain/thunderstorms all day. While it was cloudy, the mountains actually blocked the rain so it never hit! Beautiful views from the top of the cable car, even on a cloudy day. Perfect amount of time (2.5 hours) in Hallstat. I did the cable car to the skywalk and took about 30-45 minutes up there before heading down to explore the town. It is beautiful! If you walk a few hundred meters past the catholic church, look back and you actually get the iconic view of the town. Food options are subpar and expensive but that's to expect in a small tourist town. Bus to and from Hallstat was comfortable, and the driver was very helpful and engaging!

Our experience was excellent on Monday 2nd May. But it was supposed to take place on Sunday 1st May. We were unaware that 1st May was cancelled until we arrived at the funicular station. But Alina at the restaurant was very kind to us and reserved an excellent table in the restaurant and brilliant seats at the concert on the Monday.

The food was excellent, the window seat view was beautiful. The musicians were great. The pianist didn't use sheet music all the notes were in his head! You could tell they all loved what they were doing.

Very good trip very interesting and we went in a big taxi so our little group stayed together for an evening out after the mine trip

Great atmosphere and talented musicians. We took some time to explore the castle before the concert which was an added bonus!
