    1. From Salta: Cafayate Day Trip with Wine Tasting

After departing from central Salta, head south into the stunning, red-tinged lands of rock formations and towering cliffs. The trip begins south of the province, where you’ll soak up some local culture by visiting the historic villages of the Lerma Valley. Afterwards, head to the Quebrada de las Conchas, a canyon of curiously shaped rocks, eroded for centuries by water flow and strong winds. Marvel at the complex rock formations within the ravine, from the Devil’s Throat, to the Amphitheater, to The Castles, among many other spectacular displays. After a thorough exploration, head to Cafayate to visit a vineyard to taste some of the best wines that the region has to offer, including Torrontés. After the tasting, you’ll head back to Salta through the Quebrada de las Conchas.

this trip was ok, everything was as advertised. The guides English was ok but I have had guides who spoke better English. The main thing that keeps this from getting a better rating is the bus showed up 45 minutes late with no communication that it was behind and they didn't eve apologize for being so late.

Amazing experience. The opportunity to see how the landscape changes from Salta Capital to Salinas Grandes is really great and everything went as expected. The only thing to mention is that Salinas Grandes itself is not as nice as we were expecting. The trip to get there is what really makes your day together with the guide’s explanation in order to understand why the landscape is as it is. Would certainly recommend this!

Excellent day tour to Cachi. Our guide Jeremy was very knowledgeable and passionate, speaking both Spanish and English. The scenery on the drive is amazing and we stopped at several spots to look around and take photos. Cachi is a quaint town with nice lunch options. My only note is the seats on the bus don’t offer much legroom, but Jeremy and our driver did their best to accommodate my very tall husband. I recommend this tour!

It is an excellent tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and competent. The various stops were very enjoyable and scenic, perfect for picture taking. The stop in Humahuaca could have been shortened by a half hour, as the tour took over 14.5 hours as there were many police check stops that delayed our return trip to Salta.

The trip was great. However they initially agreed to pick us up from hotel, they didn’t honor their agreement and we had to walk to the departure point. Try find a smaller group rather than a large bus load and you would probably enjoy it more.

The guides were excellent, especially our English translator. Very knowledgable and explained everything as we went along. Always willing to take our photograph and tell us where the best places to eat were.

The landscapes are very beautiful and especially the guide Roberto who knew how to make this trip a unique experience. The truth is highly recommended!

Excellent experience, very good explanation from the guide, he gave us all the information and a very good representation of Salta and Jujuy.
