What people are saying about Saint Kitts and Nevis

AMAZING views! Super informative local tour guide on the drive up to the mountain trailhead. Very helpful, down to earth, and funny tour guides, DJ and Nick. This was definitely my favorite experience on the island! It is about a 7 mile hike, so if you are healthy and mobile, you should do fine. I went in running shoes which was fine, but hiking shoes are the better choice. There was not many mosquitos, so I didn’t need bug spray, and I didn’t really need sunscreen because of the dense forest shade on the trail up. I wore shorts and a shirt, there wasn’t much mud. They provide you with a sports drink and a snack (we got a raisin roll and a lucozade) and those help a lot to give you consistant energy! I’m super happy with the experience. Janeel is the organizer for this tour, and you’re helping the local economy by participating in things like this! And I can’t overstate the view at the top. DJ, (our lead tour guide) is also a great drummer if you or your event band need one.

We had a private tour (only we 2) with the guides Jordan and Nick. They brought us safely through the rain forest, to the top of the volcano and back. In this small group we could climb to the smaller exposed view point which offered a more exclusive view on the crater. We loved the home made banana bread and the chatting with the two guides. We definetely recommend the two guides for trips on the island. Also many thanks to Janeel for the great organization and the pickup service.

Fabulous tour guide Leroy - Fab open top truck - really funny lots of information about the rain forest and area there is a very steep incline in the walk - which my son went up and down with Leroy due to losing sunglasses which Leroy kindly helped to locate - would absolutely recommend five star all day long !!! Thanks Leroy

Leroy was a great guide and very knowledgeable about the island's history and plants. We appreciated getting picked up right at the Marriott in an open air van. It was a good hike for our family. Leroy was very generous in sharing his knowledge of the island and his culture. We highly recommend this activity!

We were lucky, there were two of us and we had the guide to ourselves :)
