Please note that the tour will only stop at Rüdesheim if time allows.  In winter time it may be possible that steamers do not operate in case of bad weather or water conditions. In this case, you will visit a castle instead. You'll travel back to Frankfurt by bus when the tour is finished and will be dropped off at the meeting point.

Come to Drosselgasse, the famous picturesque lane amid the old town, built for boat owners to settle into town. Take a look at Brömserburg Castle, originally the residence-stronghold of the bishops of Mainz built in the 10th century. Wonder at the beautiful aristocratic half-timbered residences, including the 16th century Brömserhof, today the site of Siegfried’s Mechanical Music Cabinet, a vast collection of fascinating musical instruments dating back 3 centuries. You will be welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine, then you will take the cable car up over the vines to the Niederwald. During the hikes there are two included wine tastings and lots of information about viticulture and the region. A cozy conclusion in the vaulted cellar with two further wine tastings rounds off this unforgettable experience. Finally, you also have the opportunity to taste or purchase other wines at the estate. The tour is approximately three kilometers long and is guaranteed to take place in all weather conditions. If the weather doesn't cooperate, an alternative program starts in the vaulted cellar.

At the agreed meeting point, the guide awaits you with a glass of Secco. The tour starts with a cable car ride to Germania, the women's figure on the building symbolizes the former German Reich.
