Experience Reindeer Farm, Husky Sled Ride & Santa Claus Village! Your day will start with transfer to the farm, where you will be able to ride your own reindeer sledge in a brief, 500m long ride. Your newly learned skills will be rewarded with a Reindeer Sledge Driver’s License! Next, make your way to the Alaskan Huskies where you will find these beautiful, loyal, and energetic companions. Experience the Alaskan Huskies in action on a 500m long sleigh ride. Enjoy a traditional salmon soup or vegetarian soup lunch during your visit and listen to the local reindeer herders as they tell you more about the herding lifestyle and how it is to be a reindeer herder in the 21st century. After the farm visit, you will be taken to the Santa Claus Village where you will have some free time to explore at your own pace. You have the opportunity to experience the Christmas atmosphere, step across the Arctic Circle, meet Santa Claus and children under 140cm can try mini snowmobiling for 10 minutes on our mini-track. Your day will conclude with drop-off back to Rovaniemi.

This 2-hour adventure offers you the opportunity to take a snowmobile for a quick spin and master the art of driving these fascinating vehicles.  You will be driving across the frozen arctic nature, accompanied by an experienced guide, enjoying the magical winter landscapes of Lapland. Benefit from knowing that the more time you spend outside, the greater the chance of you seeing the lights. Usually, you can view the Aurora in the middle of a huge frozen lake or river. Embark on an experience visiting up to 3 locations to give you the best chance of seeing the Northern Lights. Huddle around the fire with your guide, who will also tell you all about traditional animals and customs.

Snowman World is the most exhilarating snowy playground of the Santa Claus Village, located on the Arctic Circle in Rovaniemi, where you can enjoy a day of thrilling winter activities. We expect you to experience the spectacular snow and ice slides and a fun labyrinth not to mention the real ice-skating rink where even snowmen have been spotted showing off their skating skills. While enjoying holiday activities, you can occasionally revitalize yourselves with the tasty servings of the Snow Restaurant and Ice Bar, while admiring some fine snow and ice sculptures. Tickets to Snowman World are valid for a whole day. Snowman World is an outdoor destination, so don’t forget to dress up warmly!

Meet and mush with your new howling, furry friends on this safari adventure. Huskies are one of the most beloved animals of the North, and you’ll understand why as soon as you meet the pack. Pet them, pose with them for photos, and listen to stories about their lives.   Then, take a 7- to 10-kilometer long husky sled ride, where you get to be the musher yourself. This means you can control the pack of huskies towing the sled. The dogs absolutely love pulling loads and running on the trail across the forests. Feel the thrill of the ride and the cool wind on your face as you tear through the forests.   Finish off with a hot drink before saying goodbye to your new friends.

Discover the Korouoma Canyon, a 30-kilometer-long and 130-meter-deep canyon located southeast of Rovaniemi which offers breathtaking scenery all year round. During the winter, admire the stunning sight of waterfalls that have transformed into fantastic ice formations. Start with pickup from your accommodation around Rovaniemi, or in the city center, and set off for the Korouoma Canyon nature reserve. Start the tour with a hike through the park, admiring spectacular scenery including cliffs, rapids, and waterfalls. Keep your eyes sharp to observe an array of rare species that call the area home. Snowshoes are optional but may be useful if you need more confidence when hiking down the canyon or just want to enjoy some deep snow walks.
