See profiles of famous guides as you make your way under the memorial archway, dedicated to those that fought in World War I and II. Discover where the child "Penny Divers" still dive for coins, just as their parents, grandparents and great-grandparents did.
Wander through the village with one of the many guides that still practice the legacy of their ancestors. Learn how they utilize the flora and fauna and Rotorua’s geothermal attributes for cooking and bathing.
Take in breathtaking views of Pohutu Geyser erupting. Hear why the hot pools are named after Maori ancestors. Then sit back and relax to the melodious sounds of the Te Pakira Cultrual Group as they serenade you with song and dance, including the fiercesome Haka.
