I'm well traveled and have taken many tours (and a competative bike racer). This tour was 100% the best tour I've ever taken. Getyourguide partners with local tour companies and my local tour company's guide's name is Daniel. Ask for him. At first they gave me a hybrid type bike which I was not comfortable on (being that I only ride road bikes and mountain bikes). Within minutes they swapped it out with a Cannondale 29er mountain bike which was my style, fit well, and it had high level components. It was an awesome time. I saw stunningly pretty sites, delicious custard tarts, coffee, and great conversation with Daniel. He is well versed in Portuguese history and speaks English well. I could not ask for a better guide or local tour company. I actually paid the price for two people even though it was just me and I feel that I got my money's worth. It was raining and I did not care. I wanted to ride in the rain and Daniel obliged me.

The three hour walking tour led us to several neighborhoods in the historic district of Lisbon. Our guide, Helder, gave us a summary of Lisbon's history before we left Rossio Square, to give context for what we were about to see. Then as we walked along, he filled in specific details for each area we passed through. The stories were interesting and he answered all our questions with insight and occasional humor. Helder was an outstanding guide!

This was our first time in Lisbon. We booked the tour to give us an idea of the area. Catarina was an excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable, friendly, gave us some great tips and at the end of the tour give us a map circled with places of interest to visit while we were in Lisbon. I would definitely recommend.

Awesome experience. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and shared interesting insights into history and culture of area. Bike ride was fun and e-bikes makes it easy to navigate the mountainous terrain. Definitely a worthwhile and exciting way to explore the area

Lovely experience to walk Lisbon with a local

I loved the tour. Pedro is a very caring and knowledgeable guide. He's a good story teller and gave great tips about the city. I was pleasantly surprised about the wine and local food tasting of the tour. Incredible value for money. I highly recommend it.
