What People Are Saying About Rome
The guide was friendly and gave a good intro to the Sistine chapel. The main reason to do this tour is to be inside the chapel before official opening so there are very few people there. And that is amazing, there were even seats available to sit in while you looked up in wonder. Incredible, astonishing work! The rest of the Vatican museums were so crowded it was hard to enjoy! Some other great work, if you can see it behind the mosh-pit sized crowds.
Great to be in the Vatican Museums/Sistine Chapel before all the crowds. Although we had audio equipment it was nice to be able to stay in a group comfortably with our guide. Ribal was a great guide with so much knowledge and a lovely personality. Will certainly recommend this tour
Quick tour at the beginning and then on our own afterwards....it was perfect to get in early and beat the crowds as it was very busy later in the day...would have been great if it was a personbal tour with a smaller group...I am sure you offer but did not see.
It's really worth an early start as you are one of the first groups in. This means you can see some of the best galleries without thousands of visitors and an almost empty Sistine Chapel! We returned 2 hours later and you couldn't see anything as it was jam packed with people. Cafe prices not bad either for coffee/ sandwich.
