Start the walking tour going up the Capitol hill through the staircase built to a design by Michelangelo and decorated by statues of Castor and Pollux. The tour can accommodate children of all ages. The guide will involve both parents and children to uncover the story of the Imperial Rome.
From the Capitol hill the walk continues through the scenic lookout which presents the Roman Forum and passes in front of the Curia and the churches of St. Joseph of the Carpenters and the SS. Luca e Martina on the Prison of Mamertinus and the Forum of Caesar. The tour ends with a walk along the Imperial Fora's street up to the Basilica of Maxentius and then move on to the Imperial Fora of Augustus, Nerva and Trajan, to arrive at the Colosseum.
