Overview
See and taste the best of the Eternal City. This evening food tour winds through the heart of Rome's city center where ancient glory meets modern sophistication. You'll visit 5 of the most authentic Roman foodie spots favored by locals.
What to Expect
Be welcomed at an ancient bakery known as "Antico Forno Roscioli" with the locals’ favorite pizza Rossa with tomatoes, olive oil, rosemary to pizza with broccoli and sausage and pizza with zucchini flowers and anchovies.
At a gourmet cheese and cured meat shop called "Da Beppe," you'll enjoy plenty of local Pecorino Romano, aged Parmigiano Reggiano, fresh Mozzarella di Bufala as well as highly-prized Italian cured meats such as Prosciutto di Parma and hand-sliced speck from the Alto Adige. It might feel like a sin, but go ahead, you only live once.

At a trattoria named "BaGhetto" nestled among the crumbling ruins of Rome’s Ghetto neighborhood, the oldest continuous Jewish settlement in the world, you'll taste the famous “carciofi alla giudía,” a deep-fried artichoke with a glass of crisp Frascati wine and delicious appetizers.

At a restaurant "Maccheroni," you'll try the particularly well-known Carbonara and Maccheroni all’Amatriciana and the special one that you will sample here: Gnocchi (potato dumplings) with pears and gorgonzola.
At a gelateria "Della Palma," you'll choose from more than 150 flavors from a hundred varieties of fruits and berries to 20 varieties of chocolate.

The Medieval walls, the Renaissance palazzi and the Baroque fountains encountered along the walk will remind that you are passing through the living timeline of Western Civilization.
A culinary walk with us will be the highlight of your Roman holiday.
