Explore the historic and imperial monuments of Rome on a private 4-hour or 8-hour sightseeing tour, designed for groups of up to 8 people. Relax in comfort as you admire historic sites, such as the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and more
What to Expect
Start this 4-hour or 8-hour tour of Rome with an overview of the magnificent exterior of the Colosseum, former site of the Roman Empire’s gladiator battles between man and beast. Continue to the Roman Forum, center of political and cultural life in Ancient Rome.
Next, explore the Baroque architecture of Piazza Venezia, site of the imposing memorial to Victor Emanuel II, first king of a unified Italy.
At Piazza Navona, admire the Borromini Church, St. Agnes in Agone, Bernini’a Fountain of Four Rivers, and the ruins of the Stadium of Domitian. The Pantheon is the next stop on your tour. Commissioned by Marco Agrippa as a temple of all gods, it is one of the best preserved Roman buildings in Italy.
Throw a coin in the Trevi Fountain; according to legend you will one day return to Rome! Next, admire the house where Keats lived at the Spanish Steps. In Piazza di Spagna is an early Baroque fountain called Fontana della Barcaccia, often credited to Pietro Bernini; father of the more famous Gian Lorenzo Bernini.
Finally, no tour of Rome is complete without a visit to the Vatican and St. Peter’s Basilica. Enjoy!
