With the benefit of authentic recipes written by noted Latin authors such as Columella, Apicius, Pliny and many others and handed down over the centuries, your host will acquaint you with the food and wines enjoyed by Julius Caesar and Cicero.

This special evening is also great for company meetings, and will be appreciated by history lovers, food lovers and those wanting something totally different on their visit to Rome.
Your host will introduce you to many interesting facts: what meat, fish and vegetables were available in those days; how the wine we drink today is totally different from that drunk by the ancient Romans; and how the ancient Romans had their own favourite sauce.
The menu comprises pasta from this bygone era together with fruit, cakes and cheeses that were customarily eaten, accompanied by an abundance of wine. As they say, 'When in Rome'. Come and eat like the Ancient Romans!
