Accompanied by your private guide, you will not only see the city's major attractions, such as the Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, but also discover small churches and their hidden cloisters - rich in artistic masterpieces.
You will begin at the Papal Archbasilica of St. John Lateran, the Cathedral of Rome and site of the first Christian church ever built in the city. Its sculptural designs were created by some of the most prominent late baroque sculptors in Rome.
Next is the church of the Santi Quattro Coronati, which houses an amazing display of medieval frescoes. Your tour then continues with a stroll along Via dei Fori Imperiali, with breathtaking views of the Roman Forum and the Colosseum.
After stopping at a restaurant for a traditional Italian lunch, visit the church of St. Andrea delle Frate and its beautiful cloister, to view the magnificent angels sculptured by Bernini. The tour continues with a stroll along the narrow streets surrounding Piazza Navona to reach the famous Bramante's Cloister, featuring frescoes by Raffaello.
