What People Are Saying About Rome

An absolute Gem in a city fill with so much wonder

This tour was amazing. The amount of information on hand and the fact that all the different war machines and flying machines have been made and can be used (to an extent).

Very interesting, but probably could fit into one hour.

Our tour guide (Helena? Or perhaps Elena), was lovely and very knowledgeable - a former university student of art history. The Jewish ghetto is quite small, and not much remains of the original tiny alleyways and ancient buildings - for this reason, I think the tour could probably be condensed into 60-90 minutes instead of two full hours. However, we did enjoy it, and partularly loved poking around the Theater Marcellus. In retrospect, I should have asked her more about what happened to Rome's Jewish population during the 1900s, but we were caught up in a discussion of the architecture of the area.

We enjoyed the lunch and the restaurant atmosphere and staff were good

We enjoyed the activity and I would not hesitate to book again the next time I shall be in Rome.

Worth it! Was so nice to be there with very few people.

The guide was friendly and gave a good intro to the Sistine chapel. The main reason to do this tour is to be inside the chapel before official opening so there are very few people there. And that is amazing, there were even seats available to sit in while you looked up in wonder. Incredible, astonishing work! The rest of the Vatican museums were so crowded it was hard to enjoy! Some other great work, if you can see it behind the mosh-pit sized crowds.

a fabulous morning exploring Castel Sant' Angelo with a great guide

Our tour guide was warm and welcoming. He obviously loves his job and is a real gentleman. We learnt a lot about the history of Castel Sant' Angelo from our guide and would not hesitate to recommend him again :).
