With your group, an experienced tour guide will take you back to the time of gladiator fights at the Colosseum. we've visited the site together with our 12 years old son and we were absolutely impressed by the amount of details and interested information we've got from the guides. Our son was captivated by the interesting stories told by our guides. They were very knowledgeable and well prepared to deliver not only historical accurate information but stories about the ancient world, their habits and living style. We really enjoyed out tour.

This was my favorite activity/tour during my time in Rome. We did this during the first day of our visit and it set the mood for the rest of the trip. Our guides knew so much and we were amazed by the history. They gave us time to take in the scenery and then more time to take pictures, which was important to us. I was determined to get a tour that included the arena and underground of the colosseum and I am so glad I did. The money spent was worth it. We were able to tour the full colosseum and have access to places a normal ticket wouldn’t get you. This tour was well worth it. If you’re deciding if you should do it or not, I would highly advice you to do so! It was amazing.

We had 2 guides. One for the Roman forum and a separate one for the coliseum. Both were very knowledgeable. Alex, our guide for the forum talked a lot about the mythology and gave a lot of information, but I wish he had talked less and shown us more if the forum. We had to leave before we really saw some of what I felt were key aspects of the forum. We were getting bored with the explanations and would have preferred shorter explanations and to see more of the forum. The guide for the coliseum got the balance just right. Alex spent time telling us about the coliseum while we were in the forum - should have left that for the other guide and shown us more of the forum.
