What People Are Saying About Rome
Our tour guide was warm and welcoming. He obviously loves his job and is a real gentleman. We learnt a lot about the history of Castel Sant' Angelo from our guide and would not hesitate to recommend him again :).
My Guide was amazing she was personable and had so much information about the art and the history of the Borgheses...she was from New York, and has a background in art history which came to life in the experience, to hear about the influences and the people who inspired the paintings as well as the conflicts and the drama that there was with rivalries and scandal...so much fun and having my own guide to interact with and ask questions was the best part.
Visitors who have made a reservation in advance are not told that they also have to line up. Visitors are only told that no bags are allowed when they have yet received there tickets, so they have to line up a second time. all these enerving problems of bad or no communication could be solved if there was a written text( in several languages) at the entrance and not only in a folder that you gett after all these misery !
This was a fantastic experience all made by the excellent guide Rebecca who was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the subject matter. Rebecca is a credit to your organisation and hopefully we will meet her again. Martin & Anne.
Our tour guide Louise Kennedy was so passionate about what she was explaining to us. She made the whole tour feel like a story where we really got to know the lives of the people mentioned, not just about their work. Unlike other guided tours we have been on, there was not any point where we felt ourselves zoning out. The whole experience was extremely enjoyable. The Borghese Museum was not originally at the top of my list of sightseeing to do in Rome, but I would now definitely recommend it to others. Most definitely worth the price.
