What to Expect
The Roman Triumph was a civil memorial of ancient Rome held to celebrate and sanctify the success of military commanders who led Roman forces to victory. The Triumph was the highest honor that could ever be bestowed upon any victorious general in Rome.
Begin the tour at Piazza del Gesù and then pass through Piazza Venezia and the Vittoriano. Ride along the Emperial Forums and end up at the feet of the Colosseum. Go up to Circo Massimo, the Orange Garden, the keyhole of Rome, the Baths of Caracalla, and the Bocca della Verità to finally stop on top of the Capitoline hill and admire Michelangelo's gorgeous piazza on the Temple of Jupiter.
