What to Expect
Enjoy a private full-day tour of the Amalfi Coast, and discover one of the most scenic coastlines in Italy, Europe, if not the world! Following a pick-up from your hotel in Rome at about 06:30, drive towards the Amalfi coast road enjoying panoramic views on the 3-hour journey.
Your first stop will be Positano, where you will have approximately 1 hour at leisure to wander the narrow streets. Discover souvenir stores selling unique produce, such as the region’s colorful pottery, and bottles of limoncello liquer made from local lemons.
Continue along the coast road of the Tyrrhenian Sea, stopping at picturesque spots to take photos. Every twist and turn of the road reveals an amazing view. Next, visit Amalfi, and enjoy some free time to see the aristocratic town’s main sights such as the Chiostro del Paradiso, Duomo di Amalfi and Arsenal of the former Maritime Republic of the Duchy of Amalfi.
End at Ravello in the hills. Closed to traffic in its center, the village is a joy to explore. Get breathtaking panoramas of the shimmering sea from 350 meters above sea level, and visit the Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo, which provided inspiration for Wagner’s “Parsifal.”
