What to Expect
Want to see an off-the-beaten-track Rome? On this tour, you will see a different Rome and cross between centuries as you discover treasures from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance period!

Your itinerary starts with the visit to the Trastevere district, known for its art, restaurants and pubs, and magical atmosphere, especially in the evenings. After, you will visit the Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere, where you can admire the famous mosaics inside the church. Then, you will walk on to Tiberina Island and be enchanted by the houses, courtyards, and streets reminiscent of medieval origins. Once on the other side of the Tiber River you will be in the Jewish Ghetto, with its traditions and centenary history. Here you will admire the new Synagogue for an inside visit, as well as a guided tour of the Jewish Museum with a Jewish community official guide.

From this point, you can continue a fun and relaxing walk in the district and stop at any of the many restaurants or pizzerias to have a delicious local meal.
