What to Expect
On your first day you will be immersed in the best Carnival Bloco, a street party where people gather dressed in coordinated costumes. Animated crowds follow close behind a moving or stationary stage with their favorite local band playing popular songs, singing and dancing, enjoying their favorite time of year. Your guide will have all the drinks, waters, and snacks for 4 hours and all the local information you want.
The next day you'll take a ride to the west beaches, the most beautiful in the city. Choose to hike with the guide to an amazing view point or an optional stand-up paddle rental in the bay, then lay on the beach and get some sun, waves and delicious seafood (at your own expense). That night make it back to your accommodation, hang out, and get ready for an experience of a lifetime. Watch, in awe, the extravagant Samba School Parade at the Sambódromo! It is a spectacle you will remember forever!
The third day includes waterfalls in the national park in the early afternoon, a stop at the Vista Chinesa, and a sunset visit of the Chirst the Redeemer! On the last day you will have a cultural experience that will give you a real perspective of Brazil and its diverse citizens. You will start by hiking to the top of the Dois Irmãos and see a stunning view of the city. On the way down you'll go through the small streets of a favela communities, interacting with locals, seeing the social projects that are driving the communities forward and see how a large part of Brazilians live! This is an unforgettable experience, where you will be in great hands.
