What to Expect
This 4-hour private walking tour takes you on a journey to one of the icons of Rio, the Sugarloaf Mountain overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Following a hotel pick-up - available from most Rio de Janeiro hotels - embark on a thrilling adventure to one of the most sought after landmarks in Rio. Your private guide will take you 1,299 feet above sea level to the top of the Sugarloaf Mountain. Here you will enjoy some of the most breathtaking views of the dramatic city below.

See the city unfold as you glide through the sky on the cable car. You will make 2 stops; the first at Morro da Urca at an altitude of 722 feet (220 meters). The upscale neighborhood is home to several thousand city residents and grew up in the 1920s, although its origins date back much further, to the days of the early Portuguese settlers.

Continue to the second stop at the peak of Sugarloaf Mountain, located at a dizzy altitude of 1,732 feet (528 meters). The mountain frames the splendid views of the city in a quite magical manner.

Having taken in the breathtaking views, you will begin your descent by driving through the Urca district to explore its historic streets at more length.

Your 4-hour tour will then end at the stunning Red Beach, with its glamorous tropical atmosphere and beautiful views of the ocean.
